This week, our Grade 6s put their instruction-following skills to the test. Divided into teams, they were each given a set of instructions on how to assemble a tent 🏕️
The challenge?

✔️ Read carefully
✔️ Communicate clearly
✔️ Work together
The result?
👏 Tents successfully built
😂 Plenty of laughs along the way
💡 And a whole lot of learning without even realizing it!

🎉🐟 Thursdays at Leaping Minds = FISH MARKET DAY! 🐟🎉

Every Thursday, our classroom turns into a buzzing little marketplace… and things get serious 😄
Our students earn “fuzzies” (colourful pompom balls) throughout the week for working hard, showing kindness, and doing their best. But on Thursdays… it’s time to SPEND them 💰✨

🍬 Sweets are up for grabs
🤝 Deals are made
😏 Negotiations get intense
😂 And the scheming? Next level!

We call it the Fish Market because our students barter, bargain, and try every trick in the book to get the best deal (don’t worry—we keep it fair 😉).
It’s more than just sweets—it's learning: ✔️ Reward systems
✔️ Decision-making
✔️ Social skills
✔️ A little bit of fun competition!
And honestly… it’s one of the highlights of our week 🧡
