Kids in Action Tutor Centre

🌟We are pleased to let you know that Christy Herselman will be visiting our center to speak with our students about screen time and the pros and cons of cellphone use. This informative and engaging session will take place on 16 February and is a paid-for event. There will be separate, age-appropriate sessions tailored specifically for the
Junior and Senior campuses.

About Christy Herselman:
�Christy Herselman is a South African author, speaker, researcher and educator, and the founder of The Chat — a movement and platform that equips families, schools and communities to have healthy, open conversations around some of the most challenging issues facing young people today. Based in Umdloti, KwaZulu-Natal, Christy draws on her background in journalism and education, as well as her experience as a wife and mother of three teenagers. She has worked with and presented at numerous schools and communities across South Africa.

⭐️2026 Kids In Action is now offering remedial classes.

Remedial classes are designed to help students who are struggling with certain subjects or skills, providing extra support to help them "catch up" to their peers.

We focus on core subjects like literacy and numeracy by using smaller class sizes, personalized instruction, and adapted teaching methods to meet individual needs.⭐️

I am thrilled to share that several of our students have been invited to join the Impaq Annual Academic Achievers Tour 2026, organised and managed by Travel & Sport. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication.

The students selected are:

Miss Sacks – Grade 8
Miss Van Eck – Grade 9
Miss Mamarot – Grade 10
Mr. Govender – Grade 11

Impaq offers four exciting tour options: East Coast USA, United Kingdom, Dubai, and Australia. During these specialised tours, students will attend private lectures and guided visits at leading universities while exploring some of the world’s most iconic landmarks.

Scheduled for the September/October 2026 holidays, South Africa’s Academic Achievers can choose between:
USA Tour – including private lectures or visits to MIT, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and Princeton
Scotland & England Tour – with visits to the University of Edinburgh, Oxford, Cambridge, and Queen Mary’s
