Numbers and counting for preschoolers: When do children learn to count and how to help them Have you ever wondered how toddlers learn to count? They start being able to group things from a very young age, but how do they start to understand numbers?

Fine motor Friday.
Most of the activities needed to develop fine motor skills for handwriting can be done without using writing utensils such as pencils and crayons? We use the same fingers to manipulate tweezers, sq**rt bottles, stamps, stringing beads, pegs, etc., that we use to hold our pencil correctly while drawing, coloring, and writing. Incorporating some of these activities into your daily routine will provide those little hands with a much-needed workout in preparation for handwriting.
