We use a Multi - Sensory Approach
Most children are taught the same way
a teacher at the front of the class, information on a board and an expectation that every child will absorb it the same way at the same pace. For many children, that works. But for a significant number, it simply doesn't , not because they aren't capable, but because their brain needs a different entry point to learning.
A multisensory approach means using more than one sense at a time to teach and reinforce a concept. Instead of just seeing a word on a page, a child might say it out loud, clap its syllables, trace the letters in a sandbox, build it with playdough or jump each sound as they blend it. When multiple senses are engaged at once, multiple areas of the brain activate simultaneously and that's where the magic happens.
The brain forms stronger, more connected memory pathways, which means the learning sticks in a way that passive instruction rarely achieves.
At Renewed Minds, this is not a technique I occasionally use. It is the foundation of everything we do.
The S.M.F.F. Method β’β Say it Β· Move it Β· Feel it Β· Find it β is the framework that ties all of this together. Every concept we teach moves through these four steps, ensuring that no child is left relying on a single sense to carry all the weight of learning.
