🌸To be ADMITTED/ACCEPTED at CU, you need to have AT LEAST 27 APS using the CUT scoring table

🌸How does CUT calculate their APS?
• 30-39% - 2
• 40-49% - 3
• 50-59% - 4
• 60-69% - 5
• 70-79% - 6
• 80-89% - 7
• 90-100% - 8

✅You need to have AT LEAST
27 APS

✅50% for English as Home Language (vernacular) or First Additional Language

✅Level 4 (50-59%) in Life Orientation
💡At CUT Life Orientation counts 1 Point. Only 1 point EVEN IF you have Level 5, 6 or 7 in Life Orientation it will still count 1 Point when calculating your APS

🌸If you have 21 APS
❌You DO NOT qualify to study at CUT

💡A person who has an APS lower than 22 is considered to be a candidate who does not possess the necessary skills to successfully pursue a course of study at CUT under the prevailing circumstances. You will NOT be admitted to CUT

🌸If you have 22 – 26 points on CUT’s scoring scale
You must undergo a selection test.
