We have been fortunate to have been able to offer such a well rounded experience with numerous outings, two camp outs on our beautiful grounds as well as expert visiting teachers and friends, as we have tackled subjects such as geology, botany and our music program. A special thank you to our teachers, parents and our greater community who support our children.

One of the highlights of this year was a wonderful outing to climb aboard the Logos Hope ship that was docked in Durban’s Bay for a couple of weeks this year. The children excitedly browsed and purchased some of the books on sale and then just when we thought it was all over one of the crew mates invited us behind the scenes for an extended VIP tour of the ship! The benefits of being a small school. :) Our whole group enjoyed the experience thoroughly! Looking back over some of the precious times we’ve had at Treow this year reminds us just how special this school and community is. Here are some pics from not one, but two camp-outs on the Treow land. Can you believe the children convinced teacher Lindy to have not one but two camp-outs in the last half of the year! Thankfully they are a joyous experience for everyone! Camp-fire cooking, stories and songs and games under the stars, late-night chatting until the frogs drown you out and sleep finally calls.
