Celebrating Women Who Lead, Learn & Build ππΈ
At Durban South Training Centre, Womenβs Month is more than a celebration β it is a reminder of what is possible when women are given the opportunity, support and confidence to grow.
This week, we had the privilege of celebrating the incredible women who form part of the DSTT family β our learners, our staff and the women who continue to contribute to the growth of our Centre.
We celebrate the women stepping boldly into the trades, challenging the traditional perception of what an artisan looks like and proving every day that skill has no gender.
But we also celebrate the women behind the scenes β the women who teach, coordinate, support, lead, encourage, organise and create opportunities for others to succeed.
At DSTT, we believe that empowerment is not simply about opening a door. It is about making sure women have the tools, training, mentorship and confidence to walk through it β and eventually hold that door open for someone else.
From the workshop floor to the office, from learning a trade to leading others, our women are contributing to a stronger, more skilled and more inclusive future.
πΈ To our women learners: keep building.
πΈ To our women staff: keep leading.
πΈ To every woman who has been told that a certain career, trade or space is βnot for herβ: take your place.

The woman who learns.
The woman who builds.
The woman who leads.
The woman who dares to enter spaces where she was once told she didnβt belong.
From the workshop floor to the boardroom, her hands can build, her mind can innovate, and her courage can change generations.
At Durban South Training Centre, we believe when you empower a woman with skills, you donβt just change her future β you change the future around her.
Hereβs to every woman becoming everything she was created to be. β¨
