🌟 A Healthy Visit from Alpha Pharmacy! 🌟

We had a special guest today! Sister Madeleen from uMhlathuze Alpha Pharmacy popped in to chat with our learners about healthy living and how to keep our bodies strong and happy 💪🍎

Our Grade R friends listened so well and learned about good habits like washing hands, eating fruits and veggies, and drinking water.

And the best part? Thanks to Infacare, each Grade R learner went home with some lovely goodies to help them on their healthy journey 🎁💙

A big THANK YOU to Sister Madeleen and the teams at Alpha Pharmacy & Infacare for investing in our little ones. It takes a village to raise healthy, happy children!

♻️ Trash to Trend! Our Learners Walked the Runway for Sustainability 👗✨

Yesterday’s Fashion Show was not your average catwalk!

As part of a Service Learning project led by one of our student teachers, our creative learners designed and showcased incredible outfits made entirely from waste materials – think plastic packets, newspaper, bottle caps, and old fabric scraps.

Why it mattered:
🌍 Environmental awareness – One person’s trash became another’s treasure
🎨 Creativity – Our learners proved you don’t need new to make something new
💡 Sustainable thinking – Showing how small actions can help our planet

From dazzling dresses made of chip packets to suits crafted from cardboard, every design told a story about rethinking waste. The hall was buzzing with pride, cheers, and some serious fashion inspiration!

Huge congratulations to every designer and model who took part. You walked the talk on sustainability 👏

And a special thank you to our student teacher for leading this impactful project. Service Learning in action!
