The u19 boys did extremely well considering that this was a National tournament and playing against teams which had prepared themselves for this tournament for Months and we were entered after the initial invited teams pulled out in the last week.

Bechet was placed /ranked 23 out of 32 schools from all over the country.
These results are a huge achievement for us considering all the odds.

Bechet's best result was the 1-1 Draw against DHS, the team which went on to be placed second out of the 32 schools, this result showed the depth of our team.

The team, Mr Khumalo the coach, are grateful to the 2 parents and the support from about 10 educators who attended the tournament. It is much appreciated .

The following learners won a reading competition winning themselves a trip to go and explore the rich History of Johannesburg. They were accompanied by Ms Klein. The group left on Tuesday to return on Friday.

Any learner who turns 18 before November 4th 2026 is eligible to vote in the upcoming Local Government Elections.
You can not vote if you haven't registered. Voter registration weekend takes place on the weekend of the 20th as n so 21st of June.
All those who are eligible need to do is take their ID's to the voting station they would like to vote at.
They can also register online if they already have their ID's on them using their cellphone.
