Engen Community Computer Training Centre - Making a Difference in People’s Lives –

Siboniso Hlongwa summed this up in his statement when he said, the course opened my mind and helped me to know that I can still make it in life.

After completing the course in June 2022, Siboniso applied for a Sales learnership. He is currently completing the learnership at the Gauteng City College.

The second certificate presentation in 2022 for the Engen Community Computer Training centre was held at Blue Roof Life Space on 16 September 2022. 70 Learners received certificates marking their success in becoming computer literate. The learners speeches reiterated their heartfelt thanks to Engen for this opportunity as they all know that being computer literate opens the doors to many more job opportunities. Not only does it open the doors to more job opportunity but also to Learnerships. Many of the learners have been accepted onto Learnerships as a result of the course they attended at the Engen Community Computer Training centre. Another significant area that Engen make such a difference in, is the change of attitude of the people who attend the course at the Centre. Many arrive feeling hopeless and not believing that they can even learn to use the computer. Siboniso Hlongwa is an example of a changed life as a result of this changed attitude.
