Let’s teach our children to value time! Wasteful time is lost time. A new year must be given to the Maker of time itself! I pray that our children will thrive this year in confidence and kindness to all humans and animals. Let us adults lead by example!

Love is the greatest attribute we can give our children. We also need to make sure they are trained daily in the principal of kindness and gratitude so that they in turn can show the same to a world in desperate need!

We must not complicate topics for children. Make them easy to understand by engaging all the senses so the little audiences can laugh and enjoy the experience! Once again teach them the basics of words to ensure they read well with understanding later. Never underestimate the power of reading! Children retain everything so keep repeating the process.

The year is almost done and as we reflect May we have a heartfelt joy in the lessons we have taught. He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the paths for His name’s sake Ps. 23:3. Our children must inherit a beautiful meaningful future!

Don’t let cell phones become your child’s best friend! Teach them that life and fun can be found in real time face to face.

Teach your children about values and helping the needy. If they learn the practice of giving, they will never feel that they are less than enough!

The end of the year is coming up fast and children need to understand that instead of wanting the glitz and glamour from all the advertising around them teach them to have sensitivity towards those who have less then them and that happiness comes from within.

Had to take a break from homeschooling due to an emergency in Jhb. Remember to teach your children to be kind to all people. They must respect the elderly. Life is a beautiful journey and give them skills to make their own journey the best and most fulfilling as they will ultimately make the world a better place! Teach them about God and scriptural parables so that they can make wise choices!

Children need to learn to read from a young age. They should never feel inadequate or that the odds are stacked against them! Good reading promotes confidence.

Giving your child the best education is vital! A home based school provides a safe environment where children are not constantly under pressure to compete out of their unique skill.

Teach your children to stand against pressure! There will be times when friends and family demand answers to questions they cannot answer. All they trying to be is good human beings. Love them through all their adversity.

Your child needs to experience life through their own challenges, don’t rush in and save the situation. Let them develop their own problem solving abilities so that they can learn critical thinking skills. Help them to learn to discern!
