👑 Honours for Drama

Some performers light up a stage. Others help shape the story of a drama department. For the past five years, Lwandle Luthuli has done exactly that.

From leading roles in school productions and Shakespeare performances to directing House Plays, excelling in Trinity Drama examinations and embracing opportunities beyond our school through Boxstep Studio, the Young Performers Project and DHS, Lwandle has approached every opportunity with talent and an inspiring dedication.

It is with immense pride that we award Honours for Drama to Lwandle in recognition of her exceptional contribution to the performing arts at Maris Stella, and beyond.
Congratulations, Lwandle. Thank you for sharing your incredible gifts with our school community. There is always a light shining on you from above!

Musical theatre is NOT just for girls! Here are some of the talented boys who have come through Box Step Studios and cultivated a love for the stage! Damien is even pursuing a career in it and has just written and directed his first play 🤩 if your son has a passion for the stage, send him a long to try our holiday musical theatre workshop. Musical theatre workshop coming at EMOTION in Umhlanga! The age group for this one is a bit older and will be a bit more intensive in singing/ dancing and acting, rather than a holiday club. Contact us to book your spot - we can only take about 16 kids
