Celebrating Arbour Day 🌳

24/09/2026

Dear Parents/Guardians

Sadly, Miss A Pillay has handed in her letter of resignation and today was her last day. Miss Pillay leaves us to follow her dreams and has accepted a teaching position in Abu Dhabi. We are in the process of finding a suitable locum teacher to carry her teaching load for Term 4.

We take this opportunity to wish her the very best in her future endeavors. We wish to thank her for her dedication during her time at Berea Primary School.

Kind Regards
Mrs Matthee ❤️

Happy Heritage Day 🇿🇦

🍓 Fun with Fractions! 🍉 Our Grade 4 learners turned maths into a delicious learning experience with Fruit Salad Day! They explored fractions using real fruit, completed data handling activities and consolidated their concepts through a hands-on lesson. Learning, laughter and a little bit of fruit salad made this an amazing maths lesson! 🍍🥝

Dear Parents/Guardians

We have enjoyed a busy and productive term, and now look forward to the school holidays to recharge and refresh in order to give Term 4 our all.

School closes at 11h00 for all children tomorrow. Care Centre will be open as usual. For those going home, we ask that they are collected promptly at 11h00.

Should any learners stay away ill tomorrow, their reports may be collected from the Reception Office strictly between 10h30 and 12h00.

We take this opportunity to wish all our families a safe and relaxing holiday, and look forward to welcoming our child back on the 6th of October.

Kind Regards
Mrs J.V. Matthee
Acting Principal
