Making a decision doesn’t mean, ‘I would like to’ or ‘I wish…’

The word ‘decision’ comes from the Latin roots ‘de’, which means ‘from’ and ‘caedere’, which means ‘to cut’. “Making a true decision means committing to achieving a result, and then cutting yourself off from any other possibility.” - Tony Robbins. If you decide to quit smoking, in theory, you wouldn’t buy a pack of ci******es ever again, or join the smokers in the office for a quick smoke break. You should never even consider the possibility of smoking again…THAT is making a true decision.

Exercise the power of true decision and you will have a clear, unquestioned objective followed by results based on that objective. At this point, you should have defined clarity of where you are going and it will give you the power to produce tremendous results.

A coach often sees your potential long before you see it for yourself. We can see past the self-doubt, the insecurities and fear. We get to push you out of your comfort zone and past your limits. The most rewarding part is seeing our athletes realize that they have the strength that we knew that they always had 💪

“For the past 3 years, bench press has been my weakest lift, not just due to all the shoulder surgeries but the unbearable elbow pain I experience…6 months ago, I couldn’t do more than 2-3 reps of anything over 90kg but today I managed 5 x 5 without any elbow pain."
"How did this happen? With a structured training program from Rory Jason Scheepers..."

Andre Engelbrecht, Rhino Powerlifting WP representative and President of Southern Africa Strongman union

It’s amazing what Strength Club’s movement analysis, in depth movement technical feedback and structured Powerlifting programming can achieve.

Never cut back on striving for perfection, never dilute greatness, never pull back on your horsepower, and never put a rev limit on your ambition, drive, and passion.

Demand greatness of yourself and all those around you, including your coach. Don’t believe that it is wrong to be obsessed with your training; instead, make it your goal.

Obsession is what you will need to set giant goals and to follow them up with giant actions.

Let us help you perfect your training ➡️ Contact Rory Jason Scheepers on +1 345 548 0576 for a free online consultation and for more info about online coaching.

Advice from strength coach, Rory Jason Scheepers 👇
"As a professional strength coach and personal trainer, I understand that improving your sleep will positively impact not only your training but also your mental state, mindset towards training, adherence to your diet, recovery, strength, weight loss and improved performance in the workplace!

Too much caffeine in the hours leading up to bed time is one of the biggest problems I see with my clients that are chasing their greatest life.

Let's do the math, caffeine has a half life of around 5 hours. Very simply this means that 5 hours after a 300mg dose of caffeine (most pre-workouts have 300-400mg of caffeine per double scoop) you will still have 150mg circulating your system. Another 5 hours later you will have 75mg circulating your system and so on."

A randomized trial on teenagers during 2020 stated that just 80mg of caffeine taken around bed time reduced the deepest stages of their sleep by 20 min. Interestingly during the study the participants didn’t think that it had an effect on their sleep. If the average adult only gets between 1 and 2 hours of deep sleep per night; this 20 min equates to between 16 and 33% reduction in your deep sleep.

Improving your sleep will increase recovery time and in the long run, will improve your performance.
