The countdown is on to one of the most cherished events on the Northlands Girls' High School calendar – the 2026 Founders’ Day celebrations as we proudly mark 77 years of tradition, excellence, and community spirit.
We warmly invite our NGHS community to join us for the Founders’ Day Assembly on Friday, 14 August 2026, at 12h00, followed by tea in the Tuckshop, where old friendships can be rekindled and special memories shared.
The celebrations continue on Saturday, 15 August, with the highly anticipated NGHS Knights Cup Day. This action-packed showcase of talent and school pride will feature exciting competitions in Hip Hop, Basketball, Soccer, Debating, and Chess.
We look forward to welcoming you back to NGHS for a truly unforgettable Founders’ Day weekend.

Don't feel like cooking? Head down to Riverside Spur on 02 July, 16 July and 30 July 2026, from 17h00 - 20h00 to support the Northlands Girls' High School Basketball fundraising initiative. The girls will shadow the Spur Staff, learning waitressing skills and interacting with people. A percentage of all sales from the night goes towards this fundraising initiative. Your support is valuable, and NGHS hopes to see you there.
