CONGRATULATIONS to all our learners who participated in today's District selection for level 1,2 and 3 in Gymnastics at Newcastle. They were selected to represent our District in Provincial selection which will take place on the 27 and 28 June 2026 in Pinetown. Thanks to our coach Miss Zanele Magwaza for making these young people shine in different levels in Gymnastics. We wish them all the best in Provincial selection moving forward.

Today our Grade 8 learners made us proud during the Ngilalele Project Poetry showcase, led by KHULA Education. Learners wrote and performed original poems in IsisZulu and English about identity, family, and dreams. We would like to thank teachers and KHULA facilitators for mentoring all learners.

Our Grade 9 learners wrote an aptitude test to prepare them to choose subjects correctly next year. The aptitude test was conducted by KHULA Education led by Miss Nosipho Sithole. Thank you so much for the support from KHULA Education team.

Today (22 April 2026) we had a very successful parents meeting to report on Term 1 learner performance.The attendance was excellent. Congratulations to all learners for their efforts inTerm 1. We also want to congratulate all learners who made it to Top 10. They were awarded with beautiful certificates and those who got position 1 in their grades were given a token of appreciation each and certificates too. Thanks
to all teachers,non-teaching staff,SGB members, NGOs, Department of Health and all learners for making this day a "SPECIAL DAY"

AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

The Helpmekaar SAPS police, 8n collaboration with other departments, conducted an awareness campaign at Amoibe Primary School. The campaign aimed to promote safely and security among learners and staff.

Objectives

1.Raise awareness about crime prevention and safety measures
2. Educate learners about the dangers of substance abuse and violence.
3. Promote a culture of respect and responsibility
