We are bursting with pride! Please help us celebrate our very own spelling sensation, *Swazi Hobongwana in Grade 4! 🎉

Swazi placed an incredible 3RD IN THE PROVINCIALS at the WOW Spelling Festival and is now heading to STELLENBOSCH FOR NATIONALS! 🇿🇦✨

And here's why we are doing cartwheels...

BRAGGING RIGHTS ALERT: Swazi is the FIRST LEARNER IN THE HISTORY OF DESPATCH PREPARATORY to compete on a Provincial AND National level in ANY competition — whether sport or cultural! If we had Honorary Colours, he would be getting it RIGHT NOW! 🏆🤩

Grade 4 and already making history. What an achievement!

Despatch Preparatory vs College Hill — what a week it’s been!

We ran, we sang, we danced, and we left it all on the field yesterday with thrilling Rugby and Netball to close off an unforgettable Derby.

So much fun, so much gees, so many proud moments!

A huge thank you to College Hill for an amazing week of competition and camaraderie. And to our Despatch kids — you were ABSOLUTELY outstanding! We are so, so proud of you!

A NIGHT OF MUSIC, MAGIC & CULTURE! ✨🎶💃

Last night, the stage came alive as College Hill and Despatch Prep shared a beautiful evening of culture for our Derby celebrations!

From the heavenly harmonies of our Junior and Senior Choirs, to moving solo recitals, graceful dancers and powerful choral performances — our learners shone bright and made us incredibly proud.

It was more than just performances, it was friendship, unity and pure talent on display. Thank you to College Hill for sharing your amazing talent with us, to our dedicated teachers and coaches, and to every parent who came to support.

What a day for College Hill vs. Despatch Prep!

Our learners hit the trails for an exciting cross country derby and brought ALL the energy, determination and smiles. From the first whistle to the final sprint, it was pure joy to watch — muddy shoes, cheering friends, and hearts full of pride!

Thank you to College Hill for the great sportsmanship and friendly competition, and to every coach, teacher and parent who came out to support. These are the moments our kids will remember!
