Good-day Stakeholders and Participants,
I trust you are well.
On behalf of Delmas Environmental Centre under the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs (DARDLEA), I would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all stakeholders and participants who contributed to the success of the Clean-Up and Environmental Awareness Campaign held at Botleng Secondary School yesterday, Wednesday the 22nd of April 2026.
Your support, effort, and active participation played a vital role in making the campaign a great success. Through your involvement, we were able to effectively address illegal dumping, promote environmental awareness, and engage both learners and the community on responsible waste management practices.
We would like to extend a special word of appreciation to the Victor Khanye Local Municipality for their continued support, including the donation of five wheely bins, the informative presentation, and the dedicated grass cutting team. Your contribution made a significant impact on the success of the day.
We also wish to thank Botleng Secondary School for their cooperation and support, as well as the School Governing Body (SGB) for arranging the sound system which ensured the smooth running of the programme.
To our valued stakeholders who were unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances and other commitments, we fully understand and would like to encourage your participation in future campaigns of this nature. Your involvement will be highly appreciated as we continue to work together towards building a cleaner and more sustainable environment.
As Delmas Environmental Centre, we are truly grateful for the partnerships and support demonstrated.
Let us continue working together to better our environment for humanity thrives where nature survives.
Kind Regards:
Mr P. Lebese - Environmental Officer
