Aequitas Security Solutions is giving back to the first responders and SAPS of Hartbeespoort area that is always assisting and keeping the community safe.

The Plug and Press course is a practice and informational exercise that emphasizes the use of first aid materials provided and improvised instruments for the first line in field care of wounds and to comprehend fundamental anatomy and traumatic injuries.

The Baseline Plug and Press Course was created for "non-medical" people with the goal of teaching basic airway care, on-scene safety, first-line management of trauma bleeding, and interacting with emergency care staff to increase chances of life until professional medical services are available.

Thank you to the CPF, neighborhood watch and community patrollers that patrol the streets in your free time to keep our community safe.

The MDW PLUG AND PRESS EVENING MODULE is an information and practice session, that focuses on the use of first aid supplies designed and improvised tools for the first line in field care of wounds The Baseline Plug and Press Course was developed for โ€œnon-medicalโ€ individuals with the objective to provide first-line care to improve chances of survival till professional medical services are available.

- Basic anatomy and understanding traumatic injuries
- Traumatic bleeding
- Basic airway care
- On scene personal safety and decision making
- Communicating with emergency care personnel
- Practical exercises
How can you make a difference?
- Utilizing specifically designed first aid supplies available to the civilian and military market
