There is something so special about taking learning beyond the classroom! 🌿
After learning about biodiversity and ecosystems, our learners enjoyed a beautiful 6 km walk through the Dargle Mistbelt Forest, spotting bushbuck and oribi, as well as signs of duiker, porcupine and bushpig. They also learnt about indigenous plants, wildlife and the history of this incredible area.
A huge thank you to the Dargle Conservancy for sponsoring the transport and a delicious high tea, and to Barent and Helen from Crab Apple Cottage for so warmly welcoming our learners and sharing their knowledge.
What a wonderful way to learn about and appreciate our beautiful natural environment!
