Things School Owners Wish Parents Knew
1. We care about your child, genuinely.
We don’t see your child as a number or a fee payer.
2. The school and home must work together.
Education works best when parents and teachers speak the same language.
3. Teachers are humans too.
They’re not superhumans who can please everyone every time.
They have emotions, limits, and personal lives.
4. We’re not against your child, we’re against bad behaviour.
Sometimes, parents take correction personally.
When we call attention to a child’s issue, it’s not an attack, it’s a partnership call.
5. The fees you pay don’t cover everything you see.
It’s easy to underestimate what it costs to run a school; salaries, training, materials, electricity, maintenance, taxes, and more.
We do our best to balance quality with affordability.
6. Your attitude toward the school shapes your child’s respect.
When you speak negatively about teachers or school policies at home, your child stops respecting authority.
7. Education is more than academics.
We’re not just teaching subjects, we’re teaching character, teamwork, resilience, and social values.
So when your child comes home talking about a project, club, or story, that’s also learning.
8. We need your feedback, but we also need your trust.
We value open conversations.
But please, come with an open mind, not just anger.
9. Punctuality and discipline start from home.
When a child consistently comes late or forgets materials, it’s rarely the teacher’s fault.
Good habits are built at home, school only reinforces them.
10. Social media is not a complaint desk.
We understand frustration. But posting or ranting online before talking to the school only makes things worse.
11. A small “thank you” goes a long way.
Teachers and administrators give their best every day.
A quick text, note, or word of appreciation might seem small, but it fuels the passion that keeps the school alive.
12. We celebrate with you.
When your child passes, wins, or improves, we rejoice too!
13. We’re doing our best even when you can’t see it.
There are nights we stay up reviewing policies, managing budgets, or planning staff training, just to make the school better.
