For so long I cared too much about what other's thought of me. And by doing this, I passed up on so many opportunities that in retrospect, would have been absolutely life-changing for me.

Once you allow the opinions of other's to dictate how you live your life, you end up ignoring your passions and purpose in life.

So, take a stand today and make that decision to say, "f**k it, this is my life and I WILL be doing what I feel ignites my spark and passion in life!". And remember what other people think of you, is none of your damn business.

So stop giving your power away and be your own damn motivation. Look within you and start taking the actions you need to to get you the life you want and deserve.

Make this period of uncertainty a period where you get to know yourself.

Many of us are are home due to lockdown and although this pandemic is scary to say the least, let's not have it steal everything from us.

Being in lockdown for over a month, I've been able to take time and learn more about myself. I've identified where true passion lies and I have started turning my passion in a working reality.

What's stopping you from doing the same?

We often complain we don't have time to ourselves and to work on ourselves or our dreams, yet here we are with this time we have.

So, starting today take the time to learn who the authentic you is and learn what you're passionate about. Take this time to start making that dream morph into a working reality for you!

I have never been one to rely on "luck". Yes, I admit sometimes the universe presents you with a once in a lifetime opportunity but for the bigger things, you need to work your ass off.

Things don't come easy even though social media tries to make it seem that way. You need to wake up every day with the mindset of a conqueror and seize the day. Don't wait for opportunity to come, you create opportunity for yourself.

Day 46: What I miss most are the random road trips we'd take. No planning whatsoever, just two crazy adults and two even crazier kids hop in the car and explore.

This period in lockdown has made me realise how much we take for granted and how things we think to be simple are in fact the things that our souls yearn for.

So often we find ourselves drowning in all the negativity that surrounds us. Whether it be the people around us or the situations we find ourselves in.

The secret to overcoming this negativity is to highlight your blessings and that's what has helped me overcome so much in life.

I admit, there were times when I felt like "f**k this, I wanna throw in the towel". There were times when I was so down and out I lost my direction and felt like I had no purpose.

This all changed when I identified my blessings and used the positive energy to overcome and grow.

My husband and kids are my blessings. They've helped me up and pushed me to launching and growing two businesses. Without them, I'm not where I'd be today.

At some point, all of us want to see change happen in our lives. Many won't see this happen because they are not prepared to change how and what they do.
