As the end of the 1st term is beckoning, there has been a wave of activities and changes at GPS.
We said goodbye to a wonderful friend and colleague, Mrs L Naidoo, who resigned in January. Over the 33 years she has spent here, Mrs Naidoo has won the hearts of her students and colleagues with grace, resilience and unwavering commitment. We wish her every success in running her home school.

As we welcome Miss A K R Sookram into our fold and hope her stay is pleasant, we bid farewell to Miss J L Jansen. Our best wishes go with her.

Our 1st term Assessments begin on 12 March and end 15 March. School will close for the 1st term on 20 March and resume 3 April.

We take this opportunity to wish our learners, staff and support staff a safe and pleasant break.

The Staff extend their deepest condolences to the family. Mrs Panday taught as a Hindi Educator at GPS for many years. A lovely, gentle soul with a wicked sense of humour. We are deeply saddened to hear of her passing.

Musical Concert 2023. Thank you to our Staff, Parents, Sponsors and our learners. Every item was a delight to watch. Although we failed to raise the funds we desperately needed, it was an event that showcased the awesome talent of our children. It was an absolute treat! Best wishes to all for a relaxing Spring break and a speedy recovery to our Principal. We missed you! The clip is an item presented by the Grade 1 learners.

Dear Parents and Guardians of GPS. We have come to the end of a stressful and busy 2nd term. We have our dedicated staff and eager learners to thank for making it a resounding success. Daily attendance of learners play a vital role in determining your child's grades at the end of the each term.

Some of the highlights this term:
Spellathon competition - Grand prize was won by Aaryan Chettiar.📲
24 Learners were treated to a movie, pizza and cooldrink.🍕🥤

Mrs S. Essack celebrated her 60th birthday 👏

Miss T. Manilall graduated cm laude. 👏👏
An enjoyable sports /fun day was held on
22 June. Thanks to the generosity of Mr Saib, Mr & Mrs Chettiar, Ms D Jackson (no relation to Michael😚), Mr & Mrs Sahadeo, Pastor Gregs Biggas and Patmos Fellowship, Pastor Jonathan Kristen, our learners received treats and a medal.
We loved the turnout of parents!! Thank you for taking time off to come support our event.

A huge thank you to our staff for their tireless dedication and effort they put in each day despite the many challenges we face.
