Reinette's Studio is a friendly full service ceramic studio located in the tranquil Centurion area. Opened in 1984, Reinette’s Studio provides a welcoming and fun studio environment for beginners and experienced potters. Here you can relax, learn and enhance your creativity, while experience the tactile sensation of working with an organic material. Classes are offered weekly for those interested

in hand building or using the potter’s wheel to create unique handmade two or three dimensional, functional or decorative pieces. All classes are small, and are designed to help students develop and advance their skills and creativity. Begin with the basics; from pinch pots, coil pots and slab work, then advance to the wheel and to sculptural art. You can make your own platters, bowls, planters, lamps and candleholders. There are 6 potter’s wheels, 4 electric kilns and a pit fire. For decorating, there are endless ideas and techniques, from slips, carving, oxides, underglazes and glazes.
