In Loving Memory of Tylan Moonsamy

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Tylan Moonsamy, a valued member of the Southdowns College Class of 2023. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Tylan's family, friends, classmates and all who knew him.

We would like to invite anyone who knew Tylan to join the rest of the school as we celebrate his life with a memorial service.

Forever a part of our Southdowns family.

The Grade 11 Life Sciences pupils dissected cow hearts recently as part of their study of transport systems in animals. Through this hands-on practical, they explored the different structures of the heart and investigated how each contributes to the efficient circulation of blood throughout the body.

An afternoon of tea, connection, and compassion. πŸ’—

Hosted by the Deputy Head Girl, Onika Njobe, DepuTea brought together members of our school community for a meaningful cause: supporting the New Life Centre for Girls.

Every cup poured, every conversation shared, and every contribution made will help empower and uplift young girls as they build brighter futures.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, donated, and helped make this event possible. Together, we proved that even the smallest acts of kindness can create lasting change. πŸŽ€πŸŒΈ

A special thank you to Funky PhotoBooth who sponsored their services for the duration of the event!
