The above will build confidence in the learner's capabilities and help to generate a positive attitude toward school and learning that will inevitably stand them in good stead in tertiary education. We provide a holistic academic experience inclusive of individual attention where we encourage and develop self-motivation. We assist each learner based on their strengths and individual learning styles by developing their self-esteem. We offer supported academic education for students Grade 4 – 12 in either English or Afrikaans. Tutor-based schooling has been very successful throughout history and is an exciting alternative to mainstream schooling with performance in an environment conducive for self-study, in preparation for tertiary education. Learners receive guidance, structure and access to tutoring as well as a place where they can interact with other students in need of academic assistance. We specialise in homework assistance, organization, test and examination preparation as well as study methods. Time spent on core curriculum work will be focused and much shorter, leaving room to specialize in subjects and strengths that the learner shows a special interest in.

Students wanting more than traditional mainstream schooling or need to bridge education or experience learning difficulties are most welcome. Remediation is offered to students who struggle to learn effectively. A successful outcome to the Matriculation finals enables our learners to enroll in a tertiary facility such as a College or University nationally and internationally with the correct subject combination. ONLINE assistance is available as well as a qualified ORAL Assessor.


 CHIVINDI CENTRE OF LEARNING makes use of IMPAQ CAPS based curriculum accredited by UMALUSI external examination board OR any alternative curriculum of your choice.
 CAPS students write the National Senior Certificate (NSC) - which is internationally accepted with certain reservations. The South African Comprehensive Assessment Institute (SACAI) moderate all work and administer final matriculation examinations.
