February Challenge: What is your personal brand?
What makes you stand out?
What makes you different from the next person?
= Part of it is called your personal brand.
Being deeply aware and aligned to your personal brand will let people experience your uniqueness and presence. It is what we do naturally really really well without even trying to hard. It is so natural to us. All of us have this, but not all of us are aware of this, or even develop our personal brand. It comes so natural for us that we are often not even aware we are doing it.
Challenge: Interview 10 people and ask,
"What do you most appreciate about me?"
It is important to interview people form different times and areas in your life. (People that know you well, and people that have met you recently, people at work/class and friends, people from your past or childhood and people that are currently in your life)
Write that down and see if you can see any themes or correlation in their answers?
We would love to hear what you noticed.... Leave a comment or send us a private message and let us know what is part of your personal brand?

January Challenge: Sacred Listening
How often in a day, week or even month do experience that someone is really listening to you? I mean really listening. Not because of a hidden agenda or to gather information. Just simply listening to listen, because whatever you are saying is sacred, because it comes from you.
Challenge: Listen to someone today, without any agenda, just listen to that person because they are an magnificent human being and therefore what they are saying is sacred.
We would love to hear what you noticed.... Leave a comment or send us a private message with how it was for you :)

Out of the Box Gifts
It is the season of gifts. What do I give to …? Should we give gifts if we already have more than we need? How do I know she will appreciate this?
There are gifts that excites and get the juices flowing only to be forgotten, buried and even broken in a cupboard by Easter.
Think of gifts that keep on giving. Consider gifts that create an experience. Give something that the person will never give to himself.
Shift your focus from product to experience. That is what normally happens to children – the experience of play with the toy is much more important than owning a product. Put the emphasis on the experience or process the gift can start.
From a Christian perspective the Gift of God is the beginning of a new life when we receive it. The gift is everlasting and the first of many gifts to come.
I dare you to consider and decide on gifts that will reach beyond this season and the receiver’s imagination.
• Give a voucher to for a developmental program or a course that will introduce the person to a new world.
• Pool your gift budget together and sponsor the education of an underprivileged child or student and decide to use the variety of your talents to support the person on various levels.
• Adapt a charity for a year.
• Organise and sponsor a fun adventure for your family.
• Sponsor the financial capital for an elderly person to start a new hobby.
• Sponsor a holiday for someone who doesn’t know what it is.
• Sponsor a bed for that worker you know sleeps on the floor.
There are so many giving opportunities around us.
I am curious to hear about your “out of the box” gifts.

Take a Well-Formed Holiday:
What do we really need to rest and revitalise?
We need to step out of our daily routine.
If possible, go away. Break routine.
We need to step into our holiday.
Holiday means for many passive entertainment.
Doing nothing only makes us absent to our own holiday.
Rest means to be actively involved in something.
Be involved in life, especially in your own life.
Get of the couch and take action.
Be with yourself.
We are so busy with things around us, that we escape the important appointment with ourselves.
A well-formed holiday should provide the time and the space to be quiet and alone.
In solitude, we regain our sanity and we connect to our true self.
When I have the courage to face myself, I open up to my relationship with my God and with my people.
Connect with others.
Time-out from the work routine gives us the opportunity to enjoy the dynamics of our relationships.
Holiday is the time for that conversation you wish you could have more often.
Pamper yourself. That means give yourself and your body what you really need. Take long walks in nature. Eat healthy foods. Catch up with lost sleep. Enjoy the details of your hobby. Experiment with something new.
Power yourself up for the next year.
We usually need to unwind from the stress of our working environment. Then we recharge by enjoying our time-out.
Then we are ready to pump our muscles for the next year.
Many experience a flow of new ideas and creative energy during a holiday. Take advantage of that.
Take a day or two to prepare you for work.
Write down the new ideas and visualise your dreams and goals.
How well formed is you holiday?
