Praxis Learning Support Centre, based in Centurion, offers tutoring in Afrikaans, English, isiZulu, and Setswana for children from grades R to 12. It is owned and operated by Elmarie Moss-Dormehl, a qualified Educational Psychologist. Most of our ideas and sessions are based on concrete, tangible, practical methods.

Reading, spelling, alphabet knowledge, comprehension, numeracy, and understanding how to work with information.

And yes, sometimes the best learning tool isn't a worksheet at all. 😉

Spring always reminds me that children don't all grow at the same pace—or in quite the same way.

I work with learners from Grade R right through to Grade 12, and one of the things I love most is finding the approach that makes learning finally click for that particular child.

Sometimes we need pencils and paper. Sometimes we need objects, movement, pictures, repetition, and a completely different explanation.

That's the beauty of learning. 🌱
