Welcome to our first School programme event for 2025!
Did you know that flowers have different ways of letting insects know their pollen reserves are low or depleted? All life relies heavily on plants from food to the very air that we breathe. Plant Identification and classification helps us understand plant uses & how they can benefit man & all life on our amazing planet. It also gives us a deeper appreciation of the miracles to be found in Nature.
Come along to The Sheds @ Birdsong, Gemstone Road (off the R511) Crocodile River Reserve at 8h30 and discover a whole new world. There will be a nature walk and the children will be making their own plant press and herbarium. There will also be time to just enjoy being outside. The cost is R90 per child and this includes a snack pack to tide them over until 13h00.

We had a wonderful outing today in the Crocodile River Reserve!

Saturday the 18th of June is our next CRR Nature Explorer's Club outing. Our environmental educationalist, Sulize Veldsman, has made sure it will be a day full of fun activities for the children,
Your child need not be a member of the club to attend, and although it is primarily for children aged 7 to 12 anyone is welcome.
