📚 Hoekom voel wiskunde soos ’n kopkrap vanaf Graad 2?

Baie kinders sukkel nie omdat hulle “sleg” is met wiskunde nie — dit gebeur dikwels omdat die boublokke begin verander vanaf Graad 2. 🧠

Hier is ’n paar redes:

➕ Die werk raak meer abstrak
In Graad 1 gebruik kinders nog baie konkrete voorwerpe soos blokkies, vingers en prentjies. Vanaf Graad 2 moet hulle meer “in hul kop” begin werk.

⏱️ Die tempo word vinniger
Onderwysers moet deur baie werk gaan, en kinders wat stadiger d**k of meer oefening nodig het, begin agter raak.

🔢 Basiese konsepte is nie altyd vas nie
As optel, aftrek of getalbegrip nog onseker is, raak nuwe werk baie moeiliker.

😟 Angs en selfvertroue speel ’n groot rol
Een verkeerde antwoord kan maak dat ’n kind begin d**k:
“Ek is nie slim genoeg vir wiskunde nie.”
Dan raak hulle bang om te probeer.
