Confidence doesn't simply appear when a learner gets good marks. It develops through experience.

It grows when a learner asks a question without being afraid of getting it wrong. It grows when they attempt a difficult problem, receive feedback and try again. It grows when they learn to manage their own time, take responsibility and realise that challenges can be overcome.
