Dear Parents, these times have been an experience none of us ever saw possible. Your concerns as a parent must be overwhelming. The choices, endless.

Due to the position we find ourselves in as a country, many are left with the uncertainty as to what to do with our children; send them back to school or homeschool them for the year?

If your choice is the latter, I would like to offer my assistance with your Home School Environment setup. The set up with be of the Montessori Nature and have many activities your child may explore and learn through, throughout the day. This setup will be ideal to your children who are up to 6 years old.

The set up will consist of the following:

*A Zoom consultation session to discuss the way forward

(Once we reach Level 3, the following will be provided)
*Shelves, tables and chairs (where applicable)
*Activities suitable for your child, from Practical Life Skills to Understanding of the World
*Mats to work in designated work spaces
*Master copies of fine motor activities
*Training for you or your nanny/aupair and understanding into the environment that has been created for your child.
*Support via Zoom where necessary with presenting of a lesson

As a Montessori Directress with over 8 years of teaching experience, I am here to help guide you through this new phrase in both you and your child's life.

Dear Parents,

With the pandemic here with no (clear) end in sight, I am here to offer my assistance online while I cannot be there to assist you with the preparations of your 'at home classrooms'.

Montessori is a method of education that is based on self-directed activity and hands-on learning. A Montessori set up classrooms offers children the ability to make creative choices within their own learning space inside the home.

Not all children are suited to conventional ways and methods of teaching whereas Montessori offers an alternative way of thinking and a practical hands-on approach for everyday motor skills and life orientation.

My name is Jess Hudson; I am a fully qualified and certified Montessori teacher available for online lessons for children aged 3-12 years old.

My lessons include the following:

- Interactive online one-on-one teaching with your child. (30-45 Minute Sessions Depending on the Child)
- Home Lesson Plans for Parent and Child
- Daily Routine Planner
- Home Classroom Set-Up Advise & Support

Each lesson lasts for 30-45 minutes depending on the child; lessons are at a pre-scheduled time during the day. All lessons are fully interactive giving children the ability to understand and gain a knowledge of the fundamental basics of life skills following a normal Montessori classroom style lesson.

For older children currently following a standard curriculum (up to age 12) I can also assist with homework.

Dear Parents, due to the Covid-19 that has put all schools at a stand still, I understand the frustration and uncertainty of what to do with your young ones during this time.

I am here to offer my services to transform an area or playroom within your home into a suitable, independent environment for your little ones to "work" in. An area we can set up to promote independence and FUN all in one!👩‍👧‍👦

I am offering my consultations for R250. This will include me coming to your home (roughly an hour to an hour and a half meeting) to discuss with you your needs and desires for your child/ren and the way forward from there and how to transform your home into an educational, fun, environment.

I am a fully qualified and experienced Montessori Directress and Aupair, with much knowledge and understanding as to the needs of a young child.

Here is a little introduction to what I stand for.

Growing Little Minds is a concept I've had for many years, and have decided, through much organizing and researching, that THIS is the time to bring this idea to Life!⭐

Growing Little Minds has been brought to life through most of my everyday observations of children, while being a Montessori Directress.

Many families these days are full time workers, and thus sadly have little time to be at home with their young ones. Our young children often go home with nannies or aupairs, but do not have a structured afternoon ahead of them. This is where I would like to help!

I have put together different packages to assist in setting up a fun, practical play area for your child to spend part of their afternoons in. These packages will include Wooden Shelves, Trays, Practical Life and Fine Motor Activities, which have all been selected and planned to allow your child to work independently while having fun in the process!😄 I will also assist in giving you, your nannies or aupairs, a mini "workshop" to teach them about the purposes and uses of the materials and how to adapt the environment if need be.
