✨ A NIGHT UNDER THE STARS ✨
Elegance & Excellence

On 25 September 2026, the Matric Class of St. George Comprehensive School gathered at the beautiful Forever Swadini Resort for an evening that was nothing short of magical. 🌟

Dressed to impress and shining beneath the stars, our matriculants brought the theme “Elegance & Excellence” to life. It was an evening filled with laughter, friendship, celebration and unforgettable moments — a fitting celebration of a remarkable chapter in their school journey. 💫

Beyond the glamour of the evening were the memories being made: classmates celebrating together, teachers sharing in the joy of their learners, and a school family taking a moment to appreciate just how far this Class of 2026 has come. ❤️

To our teachers and staff, thank you for being part of this special occasion and, more importantly, for the guidance, encouragement and dedication you continue to give our learners.

And to our Matric Class of 2026 — as you prepare for the road ahead, remember that the stars above you are a reminder that there is no limit to how brightly you can shine. ⭐

There are achievements that do more than bring recognition — they inspire an entire school community.

Today, the St. George Comprehensive family proudly celebrates Keabetswe Mathebula, our Grade 8 learner who achieved 3rd position at the prestigious Inkosi Albert Luthuli Oral History National Finals 2026 in the African Poetry category, held in Pretoria, Gauteng, on 21 August 2026.

Keabetswe’s achievement is a powerful reminder that age is no barrier to excellence. Through her voice, confidence, creativity and deep appreciation of African storytelling, she has shown what it means to honour history, culture and identity through poetry.

To stand among the best young voices in the country is already a remarkable accomplishment — but to return with a national podium position is a moment of true pride for St. George Comprehensive school.

Keabetswe, you have represented your school with dignity, passion and purpose. Your performance has inspired your fellow learners and reminded us all of the power of words, heritage and courage.

The entire St. George family is incredibly proud of you.

May this achievement be the beginning of many more victories as you continue to use your voice to celebrate African history, culture and excellence.

Congratulations, Keabetswe Mathebula — you have made St. George Comprehensive school shine!
