EKHAYA GROUP IS HIRING – ACCOUNTANT
Join a dynamic and diversified group with operations across property investment, construction, education, and services. We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to support our financial operations and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all business units.
🔹 ROLE OVERVIEW
• Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities
• Support financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and daily finance operations
🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and reconciliations
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Support payroll processing and statutory submissions
• Monitor expenses, cash flow, and financial transactions
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls
• Assist with audits and financial documentation
🔹 REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years’ relevant accounting experience
• Experience in property, construction, or service industries advantageous
• Knowledge of South African tax regulations (SARS)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage Evolution) and Excel
• Strong understanding of reconciliations and financial reporting
