We celebrated Spring this year creating various arts and crafts relevant to our Continent study.
Our recent Spring market displayed our work, and parents joined us for a picnic in the garden.

The eruption of Mount Etna this week led to discussions about volcanoes, and some of us had a great time 'erupting' our model with the bicarbonate of soda and vinegar experiment. Learning the parts of a volcano and setting out the cards was eagerly enjoyed by this group of friends. 🌋🧡❤️💛🌎🌋

We had such a fun day celebrating our Mom's at on Friday. We spent time being creative, chatting and enjoying each other's company. We gave our mom's a card that we'd made during the week, and sang her a special song. 🩷🌻❤️🌸💜🌻💚🌸🧡

We celebrated our wonderful mom's with an interactive Mother's Day event at Noordhoek Montessori on Friday.
Moms spent time creating, chatting and enjoying each other's company. We sang a song, and gave our mom's a special keepsake card that we had all made during the week. Such a lovely morning!

As a follow up from watching our yeast experiment, we baked a delicious loaf of bread to experience how yeast helps to aerate the dough and make the bread light and spongy. It was delicious! Always having fun at school! 🍞👌💛🧡
