It is with great pride to announce that a team of our "BPM and Enterprise Systems" students has won the national leg of the Konica Minolta International University Challenge 2018. The objective of the challenge was to challenge students to analyse a document or information workflow at their university and propose an innovative alternative that delivers improvements for their institution.

The team, under the coaching and development of Prof Lisa Seymour, comprised of the following students: Philicia Behari, Kushal S.S, Shana Maduray, Tokollo Noko and Shanay Paideya.

The team will be off to represent the University Of Cape Town and South Africa at this year’s finals in Amsterdam on 21 April 2018 against 4 other teams from Europe. The winner of the international prize stands to win another all-expenses paid trip to the International Web Summit Lisbon November 2018.

Congratulations and all the best to Prof Seymour and the team!!

We would like to congratulate the ESEFA ACC Executive Sponsor, Associate Professor Lisa Seymour, on her new National Research Fund (NRF) researcher rating.

Congratulations to Associate Prof Lisa Seymour who received the very prestigious C2 NRF rating.

This rating is awarded to established researchers where all of the international reviewers are firmly convinced that the researcher is an established researcher with a sustained recent record of productivity in the field and therefore recognised by their peers as having a) produced a body of quality work, the core of which has coherence and attests to ongoing engagement with the field and b) demonstrated the ability to conceptualise problems and apply research methods to investigating them.
