The Busy Buddies Arts&Wellness Initiative

The Busy Buddies Arts&Wellness Initiative The Busy Buddies Arts Initiative is an Outreach Arts Program aimed at the Holistic Development of Children through Drama, Dance and Music.

The Busy Buddies Arts initiative is an especially designed program geared toward the holistic development of young children through, music movement and drama. Classes are taught Mondays to Thursdays at various schools and ECD sites across Cape Town by Waterfront Theatre School trained actress Buddy-Bo Butler. Buddy-Bo graduated from Waterfront Theatre School in 2006 with quadruple honours in drama and musical theatre through Trinity College, London and jazz and tap dancing through the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, London. She has since been actively working in theatre all over South Africa with a focus on Theatre in Education, a subject that she has always been passionate about. Motivated by the birth of her son in 2012, early childhood development become of utmost importance to the actress and she began developing various activities and tools promoting early learning and childhood development; all culminating into one dynamic program that incorporates academic learning, emotional growth and skill development with drama, movement and music, lovingly and passionately taught by the quirky, spirited artist.
