TEMPORARY PAUSE OF HAPPY HELPER EDWARD AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMME OPERATIONS

To our learners, parents, volunteers, partners, and the broader community,

Over the past 7 months, our programme has faced significant operational challenges. These include securing a suitable venue, postponing classes, and operating with limited volunteer capacity.

Despite these challenges, we have also seen notable progress. Our learners have achieved excellent academic results, our Youth Day event was successfully hosted, and we have received strong commitment from the volunteers, management, and families who continue to support our work.

After careful consideration, I, Cai Damane, Founder and Programme Coordinator, have made the decision to temporarily pause all programme activities for the next five months, effective immediately.

This decision was made to allow us to address key priorities: securing a stable venue, recruiting additional volunteers, and appointing a temporary Programme Coordinator to oversee daily operations, while I (Cai Damane) focus on my final Grade 12 academic year.

CALL FOR SUPPORT:
As we prepare to relaunch, we invite interested individuals to get involved.
We are currently seeking:
1. Volunteers: in tutoring, mentorship, administration, and event support
2. A Temporary Programme Coordinator: to manage operations
