Masifundisane Tutoring Services

Masifundisane Tutoring Services Masifundisane Tutoring Services(MaTS) is a community driven tutoring services that seeks to empower poor communities through quality education.

Our motto “Giving dignity to the future of your child, sizisa isidima kwikamva lomntwana wakho”. In keeping with this motto we have adopted a multifaceted strategy that goes beyond the normal route learning that our clients adopt in their learning strategy. At the core of our strategy is to provide literacy and basic numeracy of our clients that we serve regardless of their level of schooling. Education and Economics researchers concur that the education is a cumulative process. This then means that if a child lacks basics of literacy and numeracy that has a ripple effect on non performance or struggle in later years and this could hinder the child’s economic productivity in later years. This will be accompanied by serious grounding on the language proficiency of our clients as gateway tool to other core skill subjects. The two strategies will be aimed to encourage our clients to broad their world or everyday knowledge which is crucial for developing curiosity and exploration of the unknown. The second layer of this strategy is to strengthen the clients’ knowledge of the critical subjects with emphasis on application and problem solving on everyday life. This will be accompanied by challenging and assisting the client with critical thinking skill to give value to the knowledge acquiring and use. Lastly we provide client with organizational abilities to ensure that they are able to maximize their time usage. This strategy is aimed at providing customer satisfaction and value for money.

Within a month one of our learners rose from 17% in pure maths for term 1 to 35% for term two. He is now aiming for 60% for term 3. It is hard work that put this grade 11 learner where he is. Ask your parent(s) to enroll you with Masifundisane Tutoring Services(MaTS).

I saw a shirt for $97. I borrowed $50 from mom and $50
from dad. I bought the shirt with $3 of change. I gave $1 to mom, $1 to dad, and kept $1 for myself. Now I owe my mom $49 and my dad$49. $49+ $49=$98+my $1=$99. Where did the other $1 go?
