🥶❄️ Brrr, it's cold in here! ❄️🥶
This week, our little ones learned all about the exciting theme of Winter!
We spoke about the winter season, the chilly weather, and the warm clothing we wear to keep cozy. Is this the coldest season? It sure feels like it!
Our baby classes focused on developing their fine motor and communication skills by sorting colourful balls into matching colour buckets. Through this activity, we practised exciting new words such as winter, scarf, balls, blue, and clouds. Our little ones also created beautiful, colourful scarves. Be sure to have a look at them on display in front of the school when you collect your little ones!
Our older classes used the winter theme to focus on early maths skills. We practised sorting colours and shapes, worked on data sorting, and identified numbers by counting the raindrops falling from the clouds. Can you match the correct number to the amount of raindrops? Our clever learners certainly can!
What a wonderful week of learning, creating, and exploring it has been.
And finally, you'll spot a little snippet of our children practising some very special dance moves for next week. What could they possibly be preparing for? 🤔
🤫 Shhh... it's a surprise!
Have a lovely weekend 🌸

🌿 Good day, Parents 🌿
This week our theme was Healthy Environment, and what a lovely week of learning it has been!
Our little ones learned all about keeping our environment healthy, caring for the world around us, and understanding the importance of recycling. The children explored how recycling works by sorting items into groups such as glass, tins, cardboard and paper — what a fun and exciting activity this was! Their enthusiasm was wonderful to see.
Throughout the week, the children enjoyed a variety of themed activities across all age groups. Our younger classes and potty training groups created messy environment art using torn paper, and decorated clean park scenes by drawing grass and learning how we care for our environment.
We also included academic learning through sorting, counting, matching, fine motor activities, discussions, sensory play and creative art using recycled materials, making learning fun and meaningful for all age groups.
Please have a look at some videos and photos we took this week of our senior classes.
What a beautiful week filled with learning, creativity and happy little faces! 💚

☀️ The sun is out today, so we took most of our classes outside for some fun *outdoor learning*!
As it is Fruits & Vegetables Week 🍎🥕, our little ones have been learning all about different fruits and vegetables and incorporating them into our maths, colour, sensory, and gross motor activities.
🗒️Today our toddlers thoroughly enjoyed fruit tasting and making fruit salad while exploring the different textures, colours, smells, and tastes of the fruits.
🗒️Miss Rachel’s class especially enjoyed using mashing techniques during their texture and fine motor activities.
🗒️For gross motor development, the children practised hand-eye coordination by pushing and threading balls through hula hoops — an activity they absolutely loved!
🗒️Our senior classes also took their maths activities outdoors. Learners matched written numbers to the correct quantities while following instructions and practising confident counting skills.
Activities like these help us observe number recognition, quantity matching, listening skills, concentration, and the ability to follow instructions independently.
What a lovely week of learning we are having so far!
