Transport Week! ✈️

This week, our little ones had so much fun learning all about *land and air transport!*

We explored different vehicles such as cars, buses, trains, bicycles, airplanes and helicopters.

The highlight was a very special visit from Toyota and their incredible tow truck! 🚛 Our little ones loved seeing the huge tow truck up close (through our school windows, of course 😉) and learning a little more about how it works!

🌱 *Gardening Club!*
On Wednesday, our little gardeners continued developing their gardening skills and were officially introduced to their very own mini class gardens! Each learner had the exciting opportunity to plant their very own seed. 🌱

We can’t wait to watch our gardens grow! Stay tuned for more updates! 💚🌿

🌍 HERITAGE WEEK 🇿🇦

What a wonderful Heritage Week we’ve had! Our little ones explored our heritage through fun learning activities, including different languages, cutting, pasting, vocabulary and fine-motor activities. ✂️🎨

We are working hard to consolidate those important skills as we head into the final few months of the year. Well done to our little ones and teachers! 🌟

Ask your little one: “What was your favourite thing you learnt about Heritage?” 😊

Have a wonderful long weekend! ❤️🇿🇦

🌱🌿 Our First Gardening Club! 🌿🌱

Today our little gardeners had their very first Gardening Club lesson at Boston Bright Beginnings! 🪴👩‍🌾

We explored seeds, soil, plants, water and sunlight, using our senses to discover what a garden is all about. 🌱☀️💧

We learned what plants need to grow, compared different seeds, practised gentle handling and taking turns, and discovered how a tiny seed can grow into a beautiful plant! 🌿

Next week, we are SO excited to introduce our little gardeners to the garden we have prepared especially for them! 🌻🪴

📸🎥 Enjoy some special moments from our first lesson!

🌱 Gardening Club takes place every second Wednesday.

*All gardening items used are organic and, specifically sourced as such, GMO-free*. 🌿

This week, our little ones have been learning all about the circus and everything circus-related, and today they got to bring the theme to life! From dressing up in their favourite circus outfits 🤹‍♀️🎩 to showing off their best dance moves at our Circus Party 💃🕺, there was so much excitement and laughter!

And, of course, no circus would be complete without a super special clown! 🤡✨ Our little ones had the best time watching some amazing clown magic and enjoying all the fun and surprises.

🎪❤️ What an incredible way to end such a fun-filled theme! We hope our little performers had as much fun as we did! ✨

🐄🐷 FARM ANIMALS WEEK! 🐔🐑

What a fun and exciting week of learning we’ve had at Boston Bright Beginnings! 🌾

This week, our little ones explored the wonderful world of farm animals through story time, puppet shows, music, movement, art and maths. 🐮✨

Our puppet show helped us discover:
🐄 Which animals live in barns
🐷 Which animals are the messiest
🐔 What products farm animals provide
🐑 What sounds different farm animals make

We even marched like animals and crawled like farm animals! What a fun way to learn! 🐾

Our older groups incorporated the theme into their maths activities, comparing which animals are bigger, taller or smaller. They also matched animal sounds to the correct animals and matched animals to their homes. 🔢🐮

And of course, our little artists created some incredible farm-animal artwork, which will be added to their art files. 🎨❤️ Be sure to have a look at just how creative your little ones are!

As we settle into the final term of the year, we’re getting into all the good stuff! 🌟

📸 Have a look at some snippets from our fun-filled Farm Animals Week!

Ask your little one: “What is your favourite farm animal, and what does it do?” 🐄🐷🐔
