Nine of our learners recently attended the Open Day of the Chinese Consulate General in Cape Town for students of the Confucius Classroom in South Africa. Representing our school with pride, Josiah Eksteen delivered an inspiring speech on behalf of the students, while Esona Tomsana captivated the audience with a beautiful rendition of a Chinese song.

On the 9th of May 2026, The Cape Academy hosted an exciting Kaskar event filled with energy, laughter, and unforgettable moments. From intense races to incredible teamwork, the day was packed with fun as learners pushed their way to the finish line. 🏎️💨

A huge congratulations to the Grade 8s for taking the win and showing true determination and teamwork! 👏🎉

Netball friendly recap!

On 29 April 2026, our U15 and U17 netball teams faced Heathfield High School, followed by another friendly fixture against Zeekoevlei High School on 7 May 2026.

Results vs Heathfield:
U15: 12–10 Win for us
U17: 3–20

Results vs Zeekoevlei:
U15: 9–11
U17: 5–15

Even though the results were mixed, we’re proud of the determination, teamwork and sportsmanship shown on and off the court. Great fight from the U15s against Heathfield! Onwards and upwards for our girls! 💪
