Building the Circular Economy through education and infrastructure.

We are on a mission to empower South African teachers and support them as champions of sustainability and innovation in the classroom.

Amazing things are underway at Floreat, all thanks to our incredible sponsor MetPac-SA! With their support, we equipped this school with infrastructure, delivered training, and the system is now fully embedded in daily school life. Learners are getting involved and becoming recycling champions in their school.

This programme has a big impact on the wider community, and we hope these learners take this knowledge home and inspire their families too.

Thank you again to MetPacSA! More to come on this project soon 🌱

PRESENTING THE RECYCLING LEADERBOARD 🏆

Our 18 Cape Town champions absolutely crushed it this term, diverting over 17 tonnes between them. We even had some new schools join and already land on the leaderboard!

Special mentions this quarter:

🌱 Somerset House > first time on the leaderboard, and they placed every single month this term. What an incredible start!
🌱 SACS HIGH SCHOOL & Wynberg Girls' High School > improved their misclassification rates and hit some new school record lows across all three months. So proud!

This is what sustained action looks like! Thanks to our incredible sponsors, CGCSA PRO, MetPac-SA & Polyco, for helping make this happen in school communities 👏

Term 3 is already underway. If you want your school on next quarter’s leaderboard, let’s talk 👋
