Do you ever feel tired of striving, like you will never be worthy of God’s grace?

We often assume that grace comes after we’ve done enough. If we try harder, get it right, and prove ourselves, then we can come to God with confidence.

But Scripture shows the opposite: Grace is where we start, not where we arrive.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8–9)

You see, it is through faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ that we are able to receive the gift of Grace. It isn’t something you work toward.
It’s something you stand in, already received.

You don’t strive for grace.
You live from it.

This changes everything!
You don’t have to work to achieve Grace. It’s impossible for us to get there on our own anyway.
The Lord’s Grace is about receiving what’s already been given, through surrender, and accepting Grace as a gift.

The next time you feel like you cannot do enough, remind yourself:
You don’t have to earn your place with God.

You’re already fully known, fully accepted, and fully loved — right here, right now.

But Scripture shows the opposite — obedience often comes first.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Trust isn’t just a feeling.
It’s a decision to move forward without full visibility.

Seasons of waiting aren’t about getting answers or a clear set of instructions.
It’s about forming trust.

And trust requires full surrender, even in the middle of uncertainty.
