πŸš§πŸ‘·β€β™€οΈ Baby Class: Building and Construction Week πŸ‘·β€β™‚οΈπŸš§

Our little construction workers were hard at work this week! πŸ—οΈβœ¨

The babies started by tearing up "building plans" (newspapers) before getting to work creating their own structures with building blocks 🏠🧱. Through building and stacking, they explored colours, shapes, creativity, and hand-eye coordination.

The children also enjoyed playing with construction trucks and tools, using their imaginations as they transported materials and got busy on the building site πŸššπŸ› οΈ.

One of the highlights of the week was a fun sensory and gross motor activity with 60/Sixty bags. The little ones climbed, kicked, and explored, discovering different sounds and movements while having lots of fun πŸ›οΈπŸ˜Š.

After a busy week of building and exploring, the babies enjoyed some relaxing massage time, helping them unwind after all their hard work πŸ’›.

It was a wonderful week filled with creativity, movement, exploration, and plenty of construction fun! πŸš§πŸ—οΈβœ¨

πŸ—οΈπŸš§ 3–4 Class: Building and Construction Week πŸš§πŸ—οΈ

What a fantastic week our little builders had exploring the world of Building and Construction! πŸ‘·β€β™€οΈπŸ‘·β€β™‚οΈπŸ”¨

This week we focused on the number 10, the colour yellow πŸ’›, and the cross shape ✝️.

The children had lots of fun creating their own bulldozers using their footprints πŸ‘£ and pretending to be real construction workers as they collected and moved 10 balls around the classroom.

Creativity was in full swing as the children coloured their own hard hats and designed their own buildings πŸ—οΈπŸ‘·β€β™€οΈπŸ‘·β€β™‚οΈ.

We also strengthened our fine motor skills by practicing hammering using egg cartons, golf pegs, and toy hammers πŸ”¨, just like real builders on a construction site!

One of the biggest highlights of the week was our hands-on cement sensory activity. Using a mixture of flour, paint, and water, the children created their own "cement" and worked together to build walls and structures with bricks 🧱. They loved experimenting, building, and sharing ideas with one another.

It was a week filled with creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and lots of construction fun! πŸšœπŸ—οΈπŸ’›

πŸ—οΈπŸš§ 2–3 Class: Building & Construction Week πŸš§πŸ—οΈ

Our little builders had an amazing week exploring the exciting world of Building & Construction! πŸ‘·β€β™‚οΈπŸ‘·β€β™€οΈβœ¨

The children got creative by painting with toy cars and making colourful tyre tracks on paper πŸŽ¨πŸš—. We also coloured in excavators and learned about the big machines that help builders do their important work 🚜.

Using ice cream sticks, the children carefully built houses by matching each stick to the correct place, developing their problem-solving and fine motor skills 🏠✨.

One of the highlights of the week was our messy sensory play with oobleck! 🫧 The children loved exploring its unusual texture as it squished and slipped through their fingers.

Our little construction workers also crawled along a construction route with their trucks 🚚 and practiced their fine motor skills by hammering nails into sponges, just like real builders πŸ”¨.

It was a week filled with learning, exploring, creating, and building. We are so proud of all the hard work, imagination, and teamwork shown by our little builders! πŸŒŸπŸ’›

πŸš§πŸ—οΈ Grade RR: Building and Construction Week πŸ—οΈπŸš§

Can we fix it? Yes, we can! πŸ‘·β€β™€οΈπŸ‘·β€β™‚οΈβœ¨

Our construction theme gave the children the opportunity to build, create, imagine, and problem-solve throughout the week. From designing and constructing to thinking of creative solutions, our little builders embraced every challenge with enthusiasm and excitement. πŸ§ πŸ’‘

The learners showed wonderful creativity and teamwork as they explored different construction activities and discovered how builders use planning, problem-solving, and hard work to create amazing things.

Even when the weather didn't always cooperate, the fun never stopped! The children continued learning, exploring, and making the most of every moment. 😊

It was a fantastic week filled with creativity, critical thinking, hands-on learning, and lots of smiles. We are so proud of our little builders and all they accomplished! πŸŒŸπŸ”¨πŸ

What a busy and exciting week our little builders had! πŸ‘·β€β™€οΈπŸ‘·β€β™‚οΈβœ¨

This week we explored the world of Building and Construction through hands-on learning and play. The children enjoyed discovering a construction truck in a sensory bin, using their imaginations while exploring different textures and materials 🚜😊.

We got creative with our yellow colour of the week by painting with yellow Lego blocks πŸŽ¨πŸ’› and had lots of fun exploring and creating with yellow play dough.

The children also worked hard placing pegs onto a peg board, developing hand strength, coordination, fine motor skills, and concentration πŸ–οΈβœ¨.

It was a wonderful week filled with building, creating, learning, and lots of fun with friends! πŸš§πŸŒŸπŸ’›

πŸ„πŸ‘ Baby Class: Farming and Farm Animals Week πŸ“πŸ–

What a busy and exciting week our little farmers had! 🚜🌾

The babies explored the wonderful world of farming and farm animals through lots of fun, hands-on activities. They "cleaned seeds" in water, discovering different colours, textures, and the feeling of cold water on their hands πŸ’¦πŸ’š.

Our little helpers worked together to feed the chickens and hunt for hidden eggs in a sensory box filled with fun materials πŸ”πŸ₯š. Teamwork was definitely the theme of the day!

The walkers and crawlers also enjoyed building farm animal puzzles, helping them learn more about the animals that live on a farm πŸ–πŸ‘.

The highlight of the week was a very special pony visit! 🐴✨ The children had the opportunity to feed Pinocchio some carrots, meet him up close, and even sit on him. There were lots of smiles, excitement, and unforgettable memories made.

It was a wonderful week filled with learning, sensory exploration, teamwork, and farmyard fun! πŸŒΎπŸ’›

What a fantastic week we had learning all about Farm Animals! πŸŒΎπŸ„πŸ“

Our little farmers explored life on the farm while learning about the number 9 9️⃣, the colour blue πŸ’™, and the crescent shape πŸŒ™.

The children got creative by making a beautiful field filled with sheep πŸ‘, colouring their own farmers πŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎπŸ‘¨β€πŸŒΎ, and creating muddy little piggies having fun in the mud 🐷.

We also practiced our cutting skills using newspaper βœ‚οΈ, helping to strengthen fine motor development and hand coordination.

One of the biggest highlights of the week was a surprise pony visit! 🐴✨ The children loved meeting and riding the pony, creating memories they won't soon forget.

To end off the week, the little ones crushed eggshells to decorate their chicken artwork πŸ₯šπŸ£, adding a fun sensory element to their farm adventure.
