Dear colleagues and social work family. I need to share with you my concern and frustration. Hear my heart and that it comes from a place of wanting to help you. At social work advance we advertise jobs on behalf of other organisations and its our role to screen the CV’s to see if they meet the criteria of the job advertised.
If you are applying to jobs and constantly are rejected or dont even get a response, I know why!
90% of the CV’s I receive FAIL to submit their CV’s correctly. There is no covering letter, the CV is outdated and
many other mistakes.
As a social worker myself I want to help you to do this correctly.
I will run a 2 hour workshop (R50) for those would like to improve their chances when applying for jobs. First hour is looking at your application, cover letter, CV and documents, second hour on how to prepare and show up in an interview with questions you can expect.
