Deep thoughts about how parenting can change the world.❤️

The more accepting our parents were of us.

The more accepting we are of ourselves.

The more accepting we are of ourselves, the more accepting we are of others.

The good news is once we identify this, we can change our area of acceptance and therefore our children's acceptance of themselves.

Helping future generations become more accepting of others.

A Parent Effectiveness Training Course can help you with this in 8 short weeks.

Wednesday Words of Wisdom 🦉

Blessed to have found this beautiful conversation. ❤️
Watch how he WAITS 🙌🏼
It’s called ‘The Dance of Reciprocity’

Thank you Olly Murs for demonstrating how as Early Years educators, parents and carers we can promote Communication, language, and connections at an early age. To fire up synapse in a babies brain and hard wire neurons. To be present and connected ❤️

We have such an important role to play in Early Years! The first 1000 days of a child’s life are so important and this shared reel makes our hearts melt !

How he WAITS for baby to respond 🙌🏼❤️

🫶🏽 The respectful reciprocal conversation

🫶🏽 The Dance of Reciprocity ❤️

Let’s face it, Learning to talk is an important part of child’s development and a prime area in the EYFS

🫶🏽Babies learn to communicate by watching and listening to the adults around them.

🫶🏽Baby might communicate by crying, body language or babbling, which all help them develop their speech skills.

🫶🏽We can help a baby/ child learn to talk by speaking to them, reading to them, and interacting with them. By connection and relationships ❤️🫶🏽

🫶🏽 By taking time, connecting with them. Being in the moment with a child. Free from distractions and finding opportunities, to converse, chat and talk.

🫶🏽 When we celebrate and recognise these early cooing noises are important milestones for baby.

🫶🏽 When take joy from the interactions and lyrical conversations, no matter how silly or obscure! 😂Raise up moments of connection, slow down in the busyness of the day.

Do you work in Early Years? Ever wondered why we look to create home like spaces? Environments that are far removed from institutionalised schools!

Why we provide sofas, comfy chairs and places to sit, cuddle and connect to baby! As Early Years educators it’s our role to serve these babies with reverence and respect and just like Olly, marvel at how wonderful they truly are.
