A fire can spread in seconds. Knowing what to do before an emergency happens can make a critical difference.
๐งฏ YOUR STEP-BY-STEP FIRE ACTION PLAN
1๏ธโฃ RAISE THE ALARM ๐จ Alert everyone immediately. Shout โFIRE!โ and activate the fire alarm if available.
2๏ธโฃ CALL FOR HELP ๐ Contact the emergency services and give them the exact location and nature of the fire.
3๏ธโฃ EVACUATE ๐ช Leave by the nearest safe exit. โ Never use a lift. โ Never go back for personal belongings.
4๏ธโฃ STAY LOW IF THERE IS SMOKE ๐ซ๏ธ Smoke can be extremely dangerous. If you must move through smoke, stay as low as possible and follow your evacuation route.
5๏ธโฃ CLOSE DOORS BEHIND YOU ๐ช If it is safe to do so, close doors as you leave. This can help slow the spread of fire and smoke.
6๏ธโฃ GO TO THE ASSEMBLY POINT ๐ Report to the designated assembly area and remain there. โ Do not re-enter the building until authorised.

โ Do not use ordinary extinguishing agents unless they are specifically approved for that metal.
