✨Our Stellenbosch family clients are seeking a new au pair for their daughter of almost 8yrs.

Their current au pair leaves at the end of November so they want the new au pair to crossover with her for 2 weeks and then do 2 weeks on their own in December with an official start JANUARY 2027

✨They seek an au pair who is childcare experienced, academic, active and sporty, enjoys cooking simple meals & organised

🕒 TIMES:
• MONDAYS to THURSDAYS 1pm to 6 pm and FRIDAYS from 12pm to 5pm

• HOWEVER part of the job detail is an extra 10 hours per week in the later part of the morning prior to the au pair part of the day.
• So some late mornings could be from 11am, or one day less and another morning 3 hours prior etc to assist the family as detailed below.

✨JOB DESCRIPTION:

FAMILY ASSISTANCE DUTIES :
• Do shopping as requested in person or online
• Run some errands and perhaps some other admin like household tasks.
• Also do tasks around the home like organising some cupboards/ room etc
• Oversee handymen etc
• Prep and / or cook dinner when needed.

AU PAIR DUTIES :
• Pick up the 8yr old from school
• Take to extra murals and sport activities.
• Assist with homework , tests, projects.
• Prepare snacks/ meals for her and cleaning up after.
• Supervise tidying bedroom & play areas.
• See that clothes cupboards are packed, neat & tidy.
• Engage in intellectually stimulating play and activities & take on outings/play dates.
• Occasionally take to doctors or any other appointments.
• Liaise with teachers on progress. Communicate proactively with parents.
• Before you leave at the end of the day ensure that bags are packed and ready for the next day of school and extra mural.
• Possible babysitting and weekend work by prior arrangement for extra pay.

📅 START DATE: 15 November to 15 December 2026 for handover and to settle into the job. Then official start in January 2027 on an agreed date.

✨JOB DESCRIPTION:

CHILDCARE ROLE:
• Provide safe, attentive care for the three children
• Pick up the children from their schools in the City Bowl ( often share lifts with neighbour's children’s au pair)
• Take to any activities or appointments
• Manage extra-mural schedules and make sure they get to all activities
• Support and oversee homework and age-appropriate educational activities
• Plan and implement fun, developmental games and activities
• Before you leave, ensure bags, clothing and extras are ready for the next school day and extra-murals.

HOME ORGANISER / ADMIN SUPPORT ROLE
• Assist with weekly meal planning and grocery shopping
• Help manage the family calendar – birthdays, events, extra-murals, appointment
• Provide light admin support related to household organisation

📅 START DATE: August /September 2026

💰 MONTHLY SALARY: R20,000 to R21,500 plus petrol .50 km when using your car for the family.

✨Our Rondebosch family clients are seeking a full day au pair for their happy & healthy 16 month old baby boy. This is a post for a longer term candidate.
✨They seek an au pair who is
• Highly experienced as an au pair with baby to toddler age group plus
• Dependable, reliable, flexible and fun,
• Experienced as an educator of little ones ECD or other.
• Loves to grow little minds through creative play.
• Has an up to date first aid

🕒 TIMES: Mondays to Fridays from 8am to 5pm.

✨JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Arrive at 8am and do a handover with either Mom or Dad.
• Feed him breakfast and see to his routine and needs re changing nappies, naps, preparing meals , feeding him etc
• Go through your planned out day with a mix of stimulating play, singing, reading books etc.
• Also going out for walks & fresh air, to play-dates and groups designed for his age.
• In March next year the then 2yr old will start going to play-school in the morning.
• On those mornings the au pair will start doing Home/ PA type duties for the parents – like shopping, running errands and any other similar tasks.
• The au pair will collect him from school at 12pm and take him home for lunch at an afternoon sleep.
• Spend quality time with him in the afternoons doing what he loves – to play, be outdoors etc

📅 START DATE: August 2026

💰 MONTHLY SALARY: R20,000 to R21,500 take home salary plus petrol .50 km when using your car for the family.
