World Book Day 2026. 😊

22/04 - Maitland Library had a Story Telling at Premium Daycare......the stories that were read was " Noses are not for picking by Elizabeth Verdick " and " A Drop of Rain by Tanya Landman " we gave our EPWP worker the opportunity to read to the little ones for the first time and she excelled. 😊

15/04/26 - Maitland Library had a Story Telling at Premium Daycare. The stories that were read was " My Body by Jill Mc Donald " and " You're Fabulous as you are by Sophie Beer " the little ones enjoyed the stories. 🙂

Maitland Library with our new EPWP worker had Arts and Craft at Premium daycare. The little ones enjoyed the coloring in and other activities. 🙂

Closing times during the Easter weekend. 😊

Maitland Library had a Library Week programme at Premium Day care. We had some arts and crafts for the little ones with sing-alongs. They enjoyed every bit of it. As you can see, Librarians don't just stamp books but are good listeners when patrons have stories to tell, Psychologist when needed and also babysitters when duty calls 😄😄

Today Maitland Library in conjunction with National Sea Rescue had a Library week programme with Mother of the Nation educare, teaching them the safety when being at the ocean. They enjoyed the lesson and had a story telling, sing-along and fun and games afterwards with our volunteers. 😊😊

17/03/2026 - Maitland Library visited Premium Day care for a storytelling session and the following stories were read and the kids enjoyed them with sing along in-between: We're having a Baby by Cocklico, Marion, Pets by Sirett, Dawn, Disney Princess pop-up peekaboo! by Hallam, Frankie. 🙂

Maitland Library had a Story Telling at Mother of the Nation Edu-care. The stories that was read by our volunteers was " Peekaboo - Frog / Peekaboo - Disney Princess and Meesha makes friends by Tom Percival " ......the little ones enjoyed the stories with some sing-a-long afterwards. 🙂
