A brief highlight of how I celebrated this year 🫶🏾

This year’s theme was “Living God’s Purpose in a Loud World.”

It was a beautiful reminder that while the world can be full of noise and distractions, our identity and purpose are ultimately found in God.

As young people, receiving encouragement and Godly guidance early in life helps build a strong foundation for our future. I’m grateful to have been part of an event that inspired, empowered, and uplifted the next generation. 🌸

🚨 “Should I save or invest?”

If you’ve ever asked this, you’re not alone. We’re taught to save—but rarely how to grow our money. 💭💸

Here’s the truth:
🔒 Saving = Your safety net (cash for emergencies, goals, or peace of mind).
🚀 Investing = Your wealth builder (money working harder so you don’t have to).

You don’t need to pick one—you need a plan for both.

This post breaks it down the key difference between the two.

Comment any questions you have, and follow for more finance updates 🥳

Here’s the how to manage your money like a pro 🚀💃💰

1️⃣ Name & Claim Your Goals 🎯
“I wanna save more” is cute, but “I’m saving R500 for a new pair of shoes hits different. 💥
Pick a goal, attach a number to it, and work towards it.

2️⃣ Track Those Randelas Like a Hawk 👀
Yes, even those small “nik nak” purchases you make everyday ✍️😂
Keep track of everything — it will help you identify areas to cut down on.

3️⃣ Emergency Cash = Peace of Mind🛡️
SA loves plot twists, whether it’s load-shedding or potholes, plan so these surprises don’t kill your vibe 😅
Start small (even R200-R500, it counts!)

4️⃣ Fun Money = Non-Negotiable 🍹
Budgeting isn’t saying no to everything. It’s about choosing what you love! Include those date nights and takeaways in your budget.
